MUSE Academy's founding team brings decades of educational experience from primary through university, musical performance, dance, organizational performance and administration.
Head of School
Dr. Deborah Bradley-Kramer, Ph.D (NYU; European Mozart Academy) is Lecturer in Music at Columbia University, and was Director of Columbia's Music Performance Program from 1999-2013. An award-winning educator and pianist, she was nominated for a Great Teacher Award at Columbia, and received Copland, Koussevitzky, Arts International, and Trust For Mutual Understanding (Rockefeller Foundation) Grants for her recordings and performances. As Head of School, she oversees the academic and arts education provided by MUSE Academy.
Lisa Vidas Consolacion
Assistant Head of School
As Assistant Head of School, Lisa serves as an important conduit for MUSE parents on all information related to scheduling, school policies, and student support.
Lisa was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and raised on the other end of North America in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Houston’s GRAMMY-award-winning High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, she has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of St. Thomas (also in Houston), and a Master of Arts in Vocal Performance: Music Theatre from New York University.
Chair, Brooklyn Music School
MUSE Academy is managed by the Board of Trustees of the Brooklyn Music School as a non-profit chartered by the NY Board of Regents focused on providing exceptional humanist education with a strong focus on music, dance, and the performing arts. As Chair of the Board of BMS, Crocker Coulson is delighted with the Founding Team of exceptional educators and artists that have joined MUSE Academy and works closely with the Board to make sure that the school operates in a manner consistent with our commitment to diversity and access in arts education.
